This is a painting of Charleston Harbor that I painted this year. I was in Charleston on a sales trip and luckily drove out to the Pit Street Bridge walkway in Mount Pleasant where I photographed this scene. The morning light was perfect with the clouds. The tide was high and the waters edge was very still reflecting the clouds. I later photographed some egrets and added one to the scene. I have never seen a painting of Charleston and the harbor from such a wide angle. It has turned out to be one of my favorite paintings.
If you wish you may view my other paintings on my website: www.fredgalloway.com
